Scott Davis - Director

Scott Davis is a historian and writer based in Spokane, WA that specializes in American and military history. His interest in the experiences of the individual has developed into a passion for telling the stories of average Americans thrust into incredible circumstances. As a result, he created “Faces of Valor,” an oral history project aimed at interviewing the last living World War II and Korean War veterans in the Pacific Northwest to ensure their sacrifices are not forgotten. Through the project, he has had the privilege of recording the stories of World War II UDT divers, Marine Raiders, submariners, and a plethora of other heroes who have donned the uniform of the United States of America.

Currently, Scott is attending Gonzaga University where he studies history and spends most of his free time writing and running “Faces of Valor.” To date, Scott has had stories published in Nostalgia Magazine, The Spokesman Review, and War History Online.
